THE MABLEY HANDLER STORY

Mabley Handler Interior Design was founded when Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler relocated from New York City to the Hamptons full-time in 2002. Jennifer was already an accomplished interior designer, and also owned and operated her own retail furniture store and fabric & drapery stores in lower Manhattan and Greenwich, Connecticut. Austin’s background in graphic design and photography, along with his passion for architecture made for a perfect partnership. Over the last two decades Mabley Handler Interior Design has grown to become one of the leading design firms in the Hamptons. They have recently expanded, opening an atelier back in New York City in an office once occupied by the venerable Albert Hadley, and have plans to open another design studio in Palm Beach.

In the spring of 2017, Mabley Handler Interior Design introduced their award-winning 35-piece lifestyle furniture and fabric collection with Kravet. A second licensed collection with Kravet, comprised of an additional 45 pieces, launched in the fall of 2022. Licensed rug, lighting, and outdoor furniture collections with additional partners will follow, launching throughout 2023-2024. Jennifer and Austin’s interior design work in the Hamptons and beyond has been featured in numerous publications, including: Traditional Home, LUXE Interiors + Design, Coastal Living, Ocean Home, The New York Times, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Hamptons Magazine, on NBC’s Open House NYC, the Discovery Channel, and in over a dozen designer showhouses in the Hamptons, New York City, Miami and Palm Beach.
